THE CLIENT
CanBebe is a well-known baby care brand founded in Turkey, but operating in various countries in the region, including North Macedonia. The brand is renowned among parents for its high-quality baby products and skin-friendly formulas (free from BPA, parabens, and perfumes) and enjoys strong trust in retail.
Our team began working with CanBebe in 2024, when we were tasked with taking over their social media, optimizing and improving the website, and developing campaigns to promote specific products or offerings.
One of these promotional campaigns was the idea to develop a sweepstake that would reward loyal customers and amplify brand engagement across all touchpoints. This was a Herculean task with many moving parts, so our team had to get creative.
THE CHALLENGES
When CanBebe approached us with this idea, the goal was clear: create a successful sweepstake campaign that is fully compliant legally, simple for customers to enter via fiscal receipts, and encourages participation across all of their sales points. The team wanted the campaign to be exciting, fair, and transparent.
- Ensuring full legal compliance in every aspect of the sweepstake, i.e., in rules, prizes, draws, and participant data handling
- Integrating digital input (uploading fiscal receipt data) with accurate tracking and validation processes
- Designing a system that works nationwide at any CanBebe sales point, with any fiscal document, for easy participation
- Building a user-friendly registration field on the website to capture names, cities, phone numbers, e-mail, and fiscal receipt details
- Offering attractive prizes to motivate participation and handling the logistics of giving them away fairly and transparently
- Publishing the winners publicly and within the defined sweepstake period and draw schedule

THE SOLUTIONS
After talking it over with the client, we took charge of designing and building the entire solution, from the digital system to the user experience and legal framework. Our strategy included:
- A custom digital platform for sweepstake entries, which allowed users to upload fiscal receipt data, register with minimal required data, and have entries tied to CanBebe purchases across all sales locations
- A fully digital draw mechanism to select winners transparently, pulling from a pool of applicants
- A system to publish winners automatically to ensure a fair and transparent draw for all rounds (2 weeks apart)
- Website and marketing automations to remove double entries from the next draw round
- An attractive prize structure with both multiple smaller rewards (baby gear, vouchers) and high-stakes grand prizes (seven iPhone 15s) to maximize participation and anticipation
- A user-friendly web interface with entry pages, FAQs, outlined steps, and winner announcement sections, all integrated into CanBebe’s existing website
- Planning and implementing a schedule of draws over the duration of the sweepstake (11.11.2024 to 15.02.2025), with clear dates and transparent communication throughout
- Backend management and automation, i.e., handling receipt validation, data handling, registrant database, and securing personal information
THE RESULTS
The campaign successfully achieved its main objective – to engage CanBebe’s audience in a fun, transparent, and legally compliant sweepstake that strengthened the brand’s presence and deepened trust with parents across North Macedonia.
Key results from the contest include:
- Over 6,000 participants registered through the website, each submitting valid fiscal receipts for entry.
- 175 winners were selected and rewarded with prizes following their purchases from CanBebe.
- Over 1,500,000 impressions generated across social media channels, driven by engaging posts, paid ads, and organic reshares from participants (UGC).
- Wide national reach for the entire campaign, attracting participants from all major cities and building awareness for the CanBebe brand.
- A first-of-its-kind digital platform from our team, which handled the entire process seamlessly, from registration and validation to the transparent draw.

In turn, the campaign strengthened CanBebe’s relationship with its customers and demonstrated how digital solutions can modernize traditional promotions and contests. The success of this sweepstake has undoubtedly established a foundation for future campaigns that evoke trust and excitement from customers.
